OPO IV World Conference on Phenomenology: Reason and Life. The Responsibility of Philosophy

Madrid, March 8, 2011

Dear Colleague and friend:

We have received your registration for the IV World Conference of the Organization of Phenomenological Organizations (see note), and we want to give you our most sincere welcome. We are sure that your participation in the Meeting will contribute to giving relevance to phenomenological discussions and to strengthen the friendly bonds between the different phenomenological organizations all over the world.

We would like to remind you that the Conference organization does not deal with room reservations in Segovia for the participants; therefore you yourself should make the reservation. On the web page of the Spanish Society of Phenomenology a number of hotels with set prices have been listed; on the same web page you can also see other cheaper options for accomodation. There is a wide range of possibilities for visitors to Segovia: hotels, guest houses, «parador» (a fine historic building for comfortable accommodation), but since the Meeting takes place during the high season period we recommend that you do not leave the booking until too late.

The title and abstract of papers and the submission deadline of papers can be consulted as well in the Meeting Regulations. In case you have any doubts, please do contact us by e-mail: either agustin.serrano@cchs.csic.es or xescriba@cir.uic.es.

Looking forward to seeing you in Segovia,

Javier San Martín, Presidente Honorario Sociedad Española de Fenomenología Agustín Serrano de Haro, Presidente Ejecutivo Sociedad Española de Fenomenología Xavier Escribano, Secretario Sociedad Española de Fenomenología.

However, in some cases applicants have registered but not yet paid; in other cases, some applicants have paid but in fact have not registered! If you are in either of these categories, we would be grateful if you could send us the payment and/or the registration, as the case may be.
